Jamie McKenzie

“Jamie McKenzie is an emerging singer/songwriter out of Austin, TX. Born and raised in Tucson, AZ, Jamie incorporates her strong early influences of 50s & 60s blues, rock n’ roll, and soul, and has been compared to vocal talents such as Florence and the Machine, Cat Power, and Brandi Carlile. Her songwriting centers around moments of strong emotion, while her voice carries just enough grit to lean into the intensity of her songs.

Jamie was the front woman for San Francisco band, Pocket Full of Rye, and has performed in many other musical projects. This is her first exploration into a solo songwriting career, accompanied by just a guitar and a little audacity.

Jamie is a member of Austin Songwriters Group, and is the leader and a founding member of Warren Records, an Austin arts organization focused on elevating Austin creatives and removing barriers for marginalized artists."

Joe Hilling - HillCat

HillCat is the new passion project of Austin based musician Joe Hilling. Having spent his entire professional career in the music industry as an Audio Engineer, Drummer for hire, and Music Educator, he has finally turned his focus towards his own songs and his own voice.

Born and raised in Virginia, and having spent his formative teenage years in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Joe is equally at home listening to Appalachian folk and Bluegrass as he is with Midwest Emo and Indie Rock. All of these influences shine through in his songs. As a drummer first, guitar player second, Joe’s songs have a distinct rhythmic energy, married with introspective and sincere lyrics. HillCat songs chronicle personal journeys of growth and self-exploration, while enrapturing the listener with a story-telling lyrical style.
