Getting Started as a CouchConcert Artists
Registering as a CouchConcert Artist is the first step in increasing your fan base and your earnings. It’s completely free, download CouchConcerts mobile app to get started. Please review the artist guidelines.
Musicians typically make 3-5 times more money at a small CouchConcert event than they make playing at a coffee shop, pub, winery, and/or the locations in town that are perceived to be actual music venue destinations.
With CouchConcerts there are more opportunities to perform. CouchConcert hosts are encouraged to have events during the week, not just on weekends. The number of places to play is limitless (there are over 82 million single family homes in the US).
A great way to help give back to others in the community is to recruit a few of your friends and families to host events

How Does a CouchConcert Work
How are We Different
Host Selects an Artist:
A host chooses an artist and requests a show, providing a proposed date, the expected number of attendees, and a donation baseline.Artist Confirms Details:
The artist reviews the request, chats with the host to finalize the details, and accepts the show.Event is Published & Invitations Sent:
Once confirmed, the host publishes the event and invites guests. Typically, this involves inviting 20-30 friends to enjoy an intimate concert, though the host can also make the event public. Additionally, the host may allow the artist to invite guests as well
When a host invites guests, they receive a link to donate and reserve their spot at the show. Collecting donations upfront helps in two key ways:
Prevents no-shows by ensuring commitment.
Increases artist earnings by locking in a baseline donation.
Guests are still encouraged to donate after the show and to purchase merch. 100% of all donations go directly to the artist.
Fee Transparency
No Fees for Hosts or Artists:
CouchConcerts never charges hosts or artists. Instead, when a guest reserves their spot by donating, they pay a small $2 platform fee.
Where Does the Platform Fee Go?
This fee covers credit card charges, app development, and our efforts to grow the CouchConcerts network. Any profits from this fee are donated to charity.
Donations and Purchases During the Show
Guests tip via cash, Venmo, or however you typically collect. These go straight to you from guest.
Payment After the Show
CouchConcerts transfers 100% of the donations made by guests to reserve a seat to the artist via Venmo or Zelle.
Maximize Earnings
At CouchConcerts, we prioritize full financial transparency. Guests contribute a donation, usually around $20 to attend. This donation goes directly to you after the show. Any additional tips and merchandise sales are also yours to keep. We charge guests a small platform fee to cover operational costs, separate from your earnings. Profit from the platform fee is donated to charity.
